After spending eight months with CIIE, Shrey Deb, program manager (aka Stud Muffin of CIIE), decided to call it time and pursue a new challenge. Apart from that, Richa Misra, relationship manager, announced her wedding dates a few days later.
So, CIIE decided to celebrate both the occasions and congratulate both of them for their new start in life with a small party. Both of them were given funny cautious remarks before entering the new phase. While Shrey was being convinced not to quit the job by extending help from CIIE for his own startup, Richa, who has known the to-be-groom for about 11 years, was asked to think again before getting married (obviously, all in good faith).
A cake with the waffle saying ‘All The Best Shrey’ was cut and the traditional ‘daal wada’ with cold drinks were served. With all the celebratory mood, the stud muffin could not help himself with his PJ spirit and decided to crack a wise one. While eating the waffle having ‘Shrey’ written on it, he said, ‘Shrey having a piece of Shrey’ (everybody was very disappointed in the joke, but decided to laugh just because it was his farewell). Shrey was given a gift voucher from Flipkart, and brainstorming on what all could be bought with that voucher followed suit.
On the other hand, Richa treated CIIE members with rasgoollas and gulab jamun. It was a pleasant surprise for everyone that she was getting married in just over a month’s time. She was later surrounded by everyone asking her the hows and whens and wheres of the love story. There were also discussions on the silliest gifts they could give her on the wedding day.
On behalf of CIIE, we wish to congratulate both of you for the new start. Cheers!!
